Job Purpose

Responsible for acquiring new business, analysing local market trends and maintain existing client relationships to achieve VIP gaming sales targets for the relevant region, in line with Company procedures

Education

  • Grade 12
  • 2-Year Business-related Tertiary qualification is an advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years gaming experience
  • Background in casino sales, customer relations or VIP marketing is an advantage

Key Performance Areas:

Portfolio Management

  • Compile a Sales Plan to assist in increasing revenue
  • Communicate and conduct regular follow-ups with existing clients
  • Have a complete knowledge and understanding of all SI properties and facilities
  • Maintains positive relationships with all clients, tour operators, colleagues and sales networks
  • Conduct face-to-face client consultation to secure and retain business for SI

New Business Acquisition

  • Work within current business strategies, conduct market analyses and identify potential opportunities to grow new business
  • Acquire leads and respond to leads received
  • Conduct sales presentations and close deals with clients
  • Negotiate rates/packages for clients
  • Investigate and compile a client synopsis which provides specific value add information that informs decision making e.g. visitation drivers, preferences, potential spend, etc.

Sales Reports

Completion of sales reports including:

  • Weekly Sales Call Report
  • Quarterly Sales Review Report

Financial control

  • Manage costs and authorise spend in line with budget
  • Manage CCF€™s in line with internal controls and information pertaining to the customer
  • Conduct accurate revenue forecasts in line with own sales targets

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Liaise with business unit management in formulating the sales targets and VIP gaming strategy for the business unit
  • Provide relevant communication and information on guests€™ travel and stay, to the business unit management and VIP services personnel to ensure the appropriate co-ordination takes place,
  • Cooperate with other departments in the business units to create an exceptional Guest experience
  • Assists with maintenance of account information, database, contact information, team activities and business details within the Bally system according to SI standards
  • Attends all sales meetings and provide feedback relevant information to Group VIP Gaming Management
