Large well established company based in Gaborone in Botswana is currently looking for an Admin Manager.

Job Description

 

  • Factory machinery is well kept and maintained
  • Maintain all assets of the company in good working order
  • Maximize production in factory
  • Optimize all staff capabilities
  • Manage stock levels, supervise monthly stock takes
  • Ensure the working environment is safe and that all local and national statutory requirements for the industry are adhered to
  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Effective management of stock, debtors and assets
  • Supervise branch financial and management admin
  • To manage and control branch expenses effectively, maintain effective financial administration
  • To oversee branch admin effectively and timeously
  • Ensure product quality is maintained
  • Deliver customer quality service and to ensure staff deliver quality customer service
  • Branch delivers a quality product with quality customer service
  • Deliver branch excellence internally and externally
  • Be willing to work overtime when needed
  • Handle all queries to the factory quickly and efficiently
  • Uphold the company’s code of ethics
  • Stand in management in the absence of the MD
  • Supervise stock take
  • Control stock loss
  • Take full responsibility for stock

Minimum Requirements

 

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Relevant management and technical diploma/degree will be an advantage
  • Computer Literacy is essential (MS Office)
  • Valid Driver’s License is essential
  • Minimum 3 years management & administrative experience is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to actively negotiate and communicate and manage staff
  • Administration competent
  • Stock control
  • Production control
  • Technical knowledge of roll forming machinery is preferred
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • Trustworthy working with cash
  • Realize optimum production capacity
  • Botswana residency / valid work permit is required

  • Salaries are based on CTC structure – employee provides for both their own as well as the company contribution of the Medical Aid.

  • Company pays bonusses or 13th cheques in December, which forms part of the annual CTC salary.
