Botswana Harvard AIDS Institute Partnership is a collaborative research and training initiative between government of Botswana and the Harvard School of Public Health. BHP is dedicated to fight HIV/AIDS and related public health challenges through collaborative research, education and capacity building. We seek assertive, result oriented, strategic thinker with good interpersonal skills to fill in the above position.
The Administration and Communications Officer is responsible for coordinatting office activities, managing information and facilitating internal operations. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining smooth internal operations and promote a desirable public image.
The incumbent will be expected to:
Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance; troubleshooting failures; calling for repairs; monitoring equipment operation.
Perform administrative and clerical duties, such as answering phones, filing documents and disseminating information.
Fowards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence and typing documents.
Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying reciept; stocking items; delivering supplies to workstations.
Facilitate the design and development of communication strategies and materials.
Assist in preparing agendas, create databases and spreadsheets and help prepare reports and presentations.
Minimum Education or Qualifications:
Degree in communications, Administration or related fields
Class B driving license
Key Skills and Experience:
Sound reporting skills
Administrative writing skills
Microsoft Office Skills
