Assistant Store Manager – MILADYS, Airport Junction (Botswana)

Miladys, a division of the Mr Price Group is recruiting for an experienced Assistant Store Manager for our store in Airport Junction. Your objective as the Assistant Store Manager is to assist the Store Manager in leading an enthusiastic team to drive sales while exceeding your customers’ expectation.
As part of your role you will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver effective merchandise management principles, you will maintain visual standards, manage your store budget and shrinkage, monitor stock flows and manage the people aspects for your store which include employee relations and recruitment.
Ultimately your core focus is to offer the Miladys customer a personal shopping experience with exceptional levels of customer service.
Our minimum requirements:
• Grade 12
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a retail store. It would be preferred if you have worked within an Apparel and Footwear retail environment
• You should also possess the following skills: a high level of customer service, a proven ability to drive store sales and minimize shrinkage; effective people leadership; excellent communication skills; you are highly analytical and solutions oriented
