Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics or an Equivalent Qualification or CIPS qualification
Minimum of 2 (two) years relevant experience in a procurement role with similar deliverables.
Membership to the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies or any other relevant professional body is a requirement.
Reporting to the Procurement Specialist, the incumbent will be responsible for implementation of the procurement procedures and processes of the company in line with its Procurement Policy.
One of your major roles will be to provide advice. You will also be required to assist user departments and follow-up on procurements and contracts. You will be in charge of the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) or Invitation To Tenders (ITT’s), for the supply of goods and services. Prudent negotiations skills are essential to ensure optimisation of service level agreements. You will be required to manage supplier relationships.
High level expertise in procurement related systems is a necessity. You must possess ability to interpret and ascertain the technical qualifications of bids. A Self-motivated candidate with excellent communication skills is what we are looking for.
