1.    OPERATOR (TELELOGGER/FORKLIT) TENABLE IN FRANCISTOWN –CHR SBU

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To efficiently operate Telelogger/Forklift in accordance with procedures and safe manner for loading, and off-loading materials.

Qualifications:

  • Special types’ driver’s license and Forklift Operator’s Certificate.

Experience:

  • At-least two (2) years operating lifting machines in technical store.

  • Procedural awareness and understanding

2.  RECORDS ASSISTANTS TENABLE IN GABORONE, MORUPULE AND FRANCISTOWN X 3 (TEMP FOR MONTHS-CHR SBU)

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide a range of basic routine clerical activities within departments such as processing and filing documents and completion of records to ensure the accurate, secure maintenance of records strictly in accordance with laid down procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Recognized Certificated in Records Management and Archives Administration.

  Experience:

  • One year post qualification experience in records management environment.

3.  FILING CLERK TENABLE IN GABORONE –CHR SBU

 MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To file and maintain records within a Department and compile registers of outgoing and incoming files to facilitated retrieval of information.

Qualifications:

  • COSC/BGSE and basic record maintenance course.
  • Introduction to computers

Experience:

  • None.

4.  SECURITY SUPERITENDANT TENABLE IN FRANCISTOW –CS SBU

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To develop, coordinate and monitor Security management systems and activities in order to minimise security risks exposure such as theft, fraud and vandalism in order to lower the Corporation’s cost base.

Qualifications:

  • Recognized Degree in Security Management or related area.
  • Membership of recognized security institution or association.

Experience:

  • Five (5) years post qualification experience in which three (3) years will have been served in a senior position in Security management or related field in an industrial environment.

5.  LOSS CONTROL SUPERINTENDENT – TENABLE IN FRANCISTOWN – CS BU

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To develop, coordinate and monitor SHEQ programmes and activities in order to minimise safety and health risks and to ensure compliance with BPC’s integrated SHEQ performance standards as well as statutory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related area.
  • Registration in a recognised occupational safety institution preferred.

Experience:

  • Five (5) years post qualification experience in which three (3) will have been in the area of SHEQ or related field in an industrial environment.

6.  ASSISTANT TRANSMISSION ENGINEER X 1

 MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To organise, supervise and control the maintenance and operation of transmission equipment to ensure maximum availability of the system.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Higher National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

  • Five (5) years relevant experience with Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering in power transmission environment or

    Three (3) years relevant experience with Degree in Electrical Engineering

7.     TRANSMISSION SUBSTATION TECHNICIAN X 1

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To control and carry out operation, maintenance and repair of transmission substation equipment to ensure effective, safe and speedy maintenance.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Ordinary Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience:

  • Three (3) years experience in maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting in a High Voltage Environment

  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team Leadership
  • Supervisory skills
  • Attention to detail
