Description

 Reporting to Head of Consumer Operations, the role holder will;
• To provide leadership and direction to all the staff in Loans and Underwriting
• Accountability for day-to-day service delivery and performance for all teams within the Loans processing and Underwriting teams
• To be a key interface on behalf of Operations at all senior forums
• Driving Consumer Operations service delivery towards a truly client focused culture and delivery
• Risk Management – aggressively drive across Credit Operations to ensure that risk profile is maintained in line with a world class Operations
• Service Level Management – aggressively drive the service agenda to ensure that all Service Level
• Agreements are maintained to the highest standards, and that they are constantly reviewed in a fast changing Operations environment
• Capacity management – to ensure that Operations effectively supports the Aggressive business expansion plans in terms of cost and quality.
• Business Continuity Management – ensure that all critical systems and processes within Loans Operations have the highest standards of recovery within the Business Continuity framework and that they are regularly updated and tested for readiness
• Financial Management – accurate and effective management and reporting of operating costs v budgets from day –to-day and forecasting perspectives
• Change acceptance and delivery – effective management and control of change into BAU processes to minimize any degradation impact on customer service and performance

Essential/Basic Qualifications

 • Degree in Credit or Financial field / Bachelor of Accountancy /Finance / ACCA /
• Honours Degree preferred
• 5 years Credit experience with exposure to assessments
• 2 years People management experience
• Awareness of BBB COO strategy
• Conscience knowledge of Credit scoring and a detailed knowledge of Retail Lending.
• Understanding of the Retail , Service Delivery and proposition and services
• Understanding of support systems e.g. BRAINS, WinFos, etc
• Knowledge of the Bank’s bookkeeping procedures and systems.
• General knowledge of services and functions of Head Office and branches network

Preferred Qualifications
