HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER – BOTSWANA VACCINE INSTITUTE

Main Purpose of the Job

To develop and direct the implementation of Policies, Strategies, Plans and/or Programs to ensure the most effective utilisation of human resources to support the Institute’s objectives. This must be accomplished within the framework of the Institute’s overall Corporate Policies, Plans and Programs

Key Performance Areas:

  • Existence of effective Human Resources and Administration Policies and Procedures
  • Policies and Practices comply with relevant legislation
  • Trained and motivated work force
  • Expenditure within budget
  • Management/Staff relationship (Organisational Climate)
  • Effective provision of administrative services

Requirements

Education:

  • Degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management or equivalent

Experience:

  • 5 years of Human Resource Management experience, 2 of which should be at Middle Management level

Qualities:

  • Creativity, Innovative and Proactive
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Organizational and Planning skills
