DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the Database Administrator is responsible for establishing the user requirements for databases, developing technical specifications for databases. The incumbent will also design, build and maintain BTC databases and those managed by BTC on behalf of customers. They will ensure that databases are fully backed up and ensure the physical security of all databases.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Computer Science or Information Science or related course with three (3) years’ experience. Experience in Project Management methodologies and working in an ITIL compliant environment is compulsory plus Data Base Administration (DBA) professional training/certification and ITIL certification.

CARRIER SERVICES MANAGER-1 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to Head of Commercial Contrats, the incumbent will select and negotiate with new suppliers, establishing working Master Service Agreement’s (MSA) and supporting documents, conduct effective pricing negotiations for the procurement of new backbone circuits, non-standard and specialist access solutions. They will provide pricing, pre-sales support and bid-management as required, support the Carrier Management Team by maintaining and driving improvements in all carrier related activities both within BTC and through effective communication and liaison with 3rd party carriers. The incumbent will also maintain and improve BTCL service delivery and operational Service Level Agreement (SLA) reporting both internally and directly from carriers that are used for monitoring Carrier Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence and ensure that all the necessary internal information, documents and processes are available and enforced for the overall measurement of Carrier operating performance in line with Carrier contractual commitments. The incumbent will also be responsible for the negotiation and preparation of termination rates and hubbing rates.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO GENERAL MANAGER- SUPPORT SERVICES AND HUMAN RESOURSE

JOB DESCRIPTION
The incumbent will be responsible for typing and composing letters, minutes, memorandum, board papers, and reports for the office in order to enhance efficiency. They will maintain the calendar, schedule and diarise General Manager’s appointments to ensure effective and smooth running of the office. Futhermore, they will receive, screen and prioritise incoming enquiries. They will be responsible for logistical arrangements for managerial staff such as accommodation bookings, allowances, and making transport arrangements.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS ADVISOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Head of Employee Relations, the incumbent will drive high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction and provide advice to line managers on the management of employee relations, to ensure compliance with BTC policies relating to employee relations.

They will provide procedural advice and information to line managers in managing local industrial relations and employee relations issues and should collect information relating to industrial disputes and assist the Head of Employee Relations in developing a BTC strategy to resolve them.
They should be up-to-date or knowledgeable in Collective Bargaining Agreements, National Employment and Trade Unions Legislation and ensure internal compliance.
They should develop means of ensuring harmonious relations between employees and line managers. They should also monitor employee relations trends and advise the business on the right strategies to enhance stable employee relations climate.
IN-BOUND SALES AREA MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to Head of Consumer and Small Office Home Office (SOHO) accounts, the incumbent will manage all front end personnel responsible for customers’ orders, complaints and enquiries, at the BTC stores, where necessary through the Store Supervisors and decide and distribute targets to stores and personnel based on store size, potential and historical number of transactions and customers. The incumbent will rotate around all the stores that fall under their area of responsibility to observe, support and interact with personnel on site. Manage relationship with dealers and motivate for sales in the indirect channel.
