SALES MANAGER

Job description

Great opportunity for a self-driven sales person with entrepreneurial spirit and willing to make an impact on the business. Car track Botswana is one of the leading vehicle tracking companies in the country and they are looking for a hands-on Sales Manager who will take full responsibility for selling, marketing and digital advertising of car tracking devices and services to car dealerships, Transport logistics companies of vehicles, owners of fleets etc. Applicants should be highly motivated and target driven as you will be expected to achieve the budget in terms of growth and profitability and will monitor sales progress ensuring that sales and revenue targets are exceeded.

  • Set up and implement new effective sales model
  • Demonstrates technical sales and marketing skills and product knowledge
  • Formulate the marketing and advertising initiatives to attract new business
  • Manage marketing budget in conjunction with the Managing Director
  • Regular off site visits to potential clients
  • Make presentations to clients
  • Track in-warehouse progress of car installation line
  • Strive for increasing sales volume and market share
  • Build trust with clients and communicate effectively
  • Establish and maintain effective working team relationships with the technicians

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Marketing or equivalent is required
  • 3 or more years’ experience in Sales, marketing, or advertising environment is preferred
  • Experience in Telecommunication, car dealership, IT would be an added advantage
  • Persuasiveness and sale closing ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to execute sales presentation to high level clients
  • Have a good grasp of IT concepts
