Solutions Strategist
Reporting to the Heads-Commercial Segment and Public Sector, the incumbent will be tasked with driving origination and retention from a solutions and product perspective through the creation of new products and solutions sets and cross selling.

Business Development Manager
The successful incumbent will be responsible for facilitating and supporting business development initiatives to grow FNB Business’s transactional banking by developing and monitoring the roll-out of strategy and business plans. The incumbant will also be responsible for building and enhancing relationships with customers and ensure targets set by the segment are met or exceeded.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements
  • Relevant Degree
  • Minimum 5 years transactional banking experience
  • Must have relevant specialized product knowledge
  • Project management experience (advantageous)

Solutions Strategist

Requirements

The core duties are:
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue and listen, advise, influence and negotiate
  • Understand the client or potential client’s business, business processes, system requirements, banking needs and key strategy
  • Respond to complex solicited and unsolicited requests for proposals (RFPs) and proposals using professional, high quality presentations
  • Create end-to-end value propositions that include current and new product and solution sets, pricing, service and channel delivery model that meet current and anticipated future client needs
  • Understand the new product commercialization roadmap and strategic innovations taking place across the bank
  • Design integrated and bank-wide solutions in order to achieve increased market share, share of wallet and revenue diversification
  • Understand traditional and non-traditional competitor offerings and strategies
  • Collate client presentations, generic proposals and tender-specific responses
  • Manage the solution design, client engagement and client interface using project management disciplines
  • Design, develop and implement banking solutions that meet and exceed client needs in consultation with the product houses
  • Design the implementation plan and coordinate the roll-out of the plan with the client, Product Specialists and Service Managers
  • Initiate meetings with key stakeholders to track progress, manage expectations and ensure stakeholders’ needs are met timely

Job Purpose

Senior Risk Analyst

Job Purpose

Providing Risk functions (Consumer Credit, Wholesale Credit, Market Risk, Risk & Control Unit and Operational Risk) with analytical solutions/ monitoring packs and MI to manage portfolios effectively ensuring process compliance as per policy guidelines.
Provide support and oversight on submissions done by the MI Analyst team.
Assess Corporate and Investment Banking and the Retail and Business Banking portfolio profitability, growth and risks on an on-going basis
Ensure Group reporting deadlines are adhered to at all times.
Ensure that PD (Probability of Default) and LGD (Loss Given Default) models are understood and input into its development are provided
Lead impairment forecasting and provide analysis required to make informed decisions
Liaise, co-ordinate and provide various inputs and responses, as required, on impairments, forecasting, MI and analytics to all stakeholders
Provide data and analytical support to the Consumer Credit team to establish month end impairments forecasts and understand impairment drivers.
Provide data and analytical data for required policy changes on the Consumer and Wholesale portfolio.
Portfolio Management: provide required data to Consumer Credit and Wholesale Credit to inform the business on imminent trends as well provide analytical data on the same.
Ensure all modeling issues are pro-actively identified and addressed by regularly engaging with relevant stakeholders, and where model inputs appear to be missing or inaccurate, addressing and communicating with stakeholders.

Head of Markets

Job Purpose
To manage the Sales & Trading teams incorporating the following management actions:

Hiring and retaining the Best People
Ensuring Country Sales & Trading business has sufficient human resources to deliver on regulatory, operational and customer commitments;
Managing the team Performance Development process to ensure measurement against business objectives and to address non-performance;
Implementing strategies to ensure that the business unit attracts, retains and develops talent;
Establishing and maintaining a succession plan for key roles in the Sales & Trading;
Driving the negotiation of Service level Agreements with supporting business unit heads (Corporate, Credit, Operations, Risk) with the focus on performance turn around;
Driving a culture of proactive compliance and risk management within the team
