Mokolodi Restaurant attracts clients direct from the Mokolodi Nature Reserve Park. It is an open-air space restaurant situated near the entrance to the Mokolodi Nature Reserve. As a result of its location, it also attracts patrons from all walks of life including international guests, world leaders, and regular tourists. There is a large terrace with views out over the Nature Reserve.The Mokolodi Restaurant gives a very pleasant place for dining.In order to meet world class standards, the Restaurant seeks to employ a qualified and experienced Head Chef with extensive knowledge and experience in Hotel and Catering, Cookery and Tourism. In order to apply, the candidate must have the following attributes:

• The candidate must have the ability to shape up the Restaurant into a World class destination through frequent contact between the kitchen and the guests.

• Maximize the productivity of the kitchen staff,

• managing the sous chef and chef de partie,

• Maintaining impeccable personal hygiene as well as high work and safety standards,

• Ensure that quality culinary dishes are served on schedule and to see that any problems that arise are rectified.

• Approving all prepared food items that leave the Kitchen.

• Modify and create new menus as needed so that they remain effective

The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years as an Executive/Head Chef at a Tourist Destination

– An internationally recognized qualification in Hotel and Catering

– A qualification in Travel and Tourism
