Accounts Assistant – Paper Valley

MAIN PURPOSE
The accounts assistant will be primarily responsible for the bookkeeping activities of the firm as well as assisting the senior team In order to achieve the vision and goals of the firm.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Capture and process receipts and Invoices into the accounting system

2. Invoicing for all clientele.
3. Bank reconciliations
4.Maintain petty cash ledger and reconciliations for replenishment
5 Preparation of VAT returns on a monthly basis for clients
6 Maintain accurate filling system for both physical and electronic vendor invoices and all receipt documentation.

 

7. Assist with payroll requirements for clients.
8 Assist senior finance team with accounting-related tasks to ensure timely monthly reporting

9. Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
1. AAT or Diploma in Accounting and Business Studies
2. At least 1-year experience in an accounting or finance environment

3 Proficiency In excel
4.QuickBooks knowledge an added advantage
5 Good organizational skills
6 Good oral and communication skills

 

7. Good analytical/numerical skills
