Main Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Officer, the candidate will be required to implement BoFiNet’s management strategies in order to facilitate the procurement of BoFiNet’s goods and services. The candidate will be expected to maintain relationships with suppliers that are mutually beneficial and fair whilst ensuring that the greatest effectiveness and efficiency are maintained.
Key Performance Areas:
Managing supplier relationships.
Ensures accuracy of documentation and adherence to procurement procedures.
Implements procurement processes fairly and transparently in accordance with the highest level of corporate governance.
Participates in the resolution of procurement discrepancies and irregularities
Conducts value for money purchasing.
Upholds cost containment measures.
Ensures customer satisfaction at all times.
Strong negotiation skills

Academic Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have attained the following:
• The candidate should have at least CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Purchasing and Supply, Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Management, Business or related field.
• CIPS Membership or membership with a relevant professional body
• A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a procurement field.
