BoFiNet has been charged with the responsibility of running an important national strategic asset in the high capacity fibre and wireless radio network within Botswana as well as the international terrestrial links from Botswana to the rest of the world as well as Points of Presence across the world.

Main Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Transmission & Fibre Engineer, the incumbent’s responsibility will be to operate and maintain BoFiNet’s high capacity fibre links and ensure maximum availability at all times. Ensure that maintenance and management of all faults is done efficiently and effectively.

Academic Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have attained the following:
• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Communication Technology (ICT) or related area.
• Minimum of four (4) years post qualification experience of which two (2) must have been in a telecommunications environment.
