Job Description

Primary Purpose of the Role
To be accountable for the managing, directing and ensuring effective sales and operational execution within the Francistown regional stores and to ensure Business growth for the area.

Key Responsibilities – Primary Function(s) of the Role
Strategy
To contribute to the Group Strategic function, by having a detailed understanding of growth, financial and operational objectives.
To ensure effective execution of the strategic action plans in order to achieve the objectives of the Group Strategy.

Financial
To meet the financial targets of the business and ensure adherence of good business practice.
To ensure adherence to statutory and governance requirements.

Operational
To execute quality inventory practices of receiving, restocking, transfers, and managing inventory discrepancies.
To organize and monitor stock to maximize efficiency by conducting daily stock-count, ensure appropriate costing on systems, perform routine inspections and ensure that all stock on hand is properly accounted for on an on-going basis.
To ensure bulk orders are placed with Gaborone timeously.
To ensure orders are placed with suppliers and received timeously.
Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/ or product, packaging, and service changes.

Customer
To manage and monitor client satisfaction at regular intervals.
Understand the market environment of both competitors and clients and assist with maintaining client relationships.

People
Ensure that each store subordinate is trained and compliant with all basic inventory management/movement/receiving processes.
Lead the BCX way: Motivate and coach the team to deliver against performance targets, develop and enhance team effectiveness and direct reports’, manage and maintain the attraction and retention of talent, and manage and empower people to execute operations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Certifications required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management

Sales leadership: 3 – 5 years
Finance Management: 3 – 5 years
ICT Experience Products: 3 – 5 years
General Management practice: 3 – 5 years
Computer And Information Literacy: 3 – 5 years
