An immediate vacancy exists for a Business Development Director. Thales Botswana

Reporting to tho SADC Country Director

 

 

Duties and key performance areas will Include, but are not limited to:

KPA’s

  • Support growth creation

 

 

  • Strategic management

 

 

  • Risk Management

 

The successful candidate shall possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • B degree in any relevant commercial and/or sales or marketing
  • MBA qualification will be an added advantage
  • 10-15 years’ experience in a Senior Sales ManagemeniiBusmess Development position
  • Experience in the following domains is essential,
    • Defense
    • Civil Aviation
    • Customer Services and Support

 

  • Proven track record of single sales orders achieved an access of 10 M Euros
  • Experience in dealing with government agencies
  • Sold experience in strategic business value chain development
  • Understanding of Research and Market
  • Global exposure is essential

 

The successful candidate should possess the following personal skills & attributes

 

 

  • Working knowledge of CHORUS
  • Thorough knowledge of Q-Musik
  • Thorough knowledge of GCRM
  • Knowledge of health and Safety regulations
  • Problems solving skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Communication skills (written/verbal)
  • Computer Skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Attention to details
