Main purpose of the job

We are looking for a driven social media officer to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and network users. The Officer will help to develop, implement and manage the Colleges communications and digital media strategy.
Main duties

Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, and messaging and audience identification.
Help to develop and implement a dynamic digital communications strategy, supporting the College’s objectives and ensuring its message is delivered consistently and professionally across all relevant platforms.
To manage and measure engagement across all media platforms.
Assist with planning strategic social media campaigns.
Explore new media channels to engage with audiences


An Advanced Diploma in any related qualification (marketing/ public relation/digital media), a Degree will be an added advantage.
Substantial experience working in marketing and communications.
Experience in web and email marketing.
Influencing and persuading skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent Communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally.
Must be able to think creatively.
