To support the Risk and Compliance Manager in the execution of the Compliance framework and enterprise wide risk management processes in order to minimize and prevent losses especially in the area of Money Laundering (ML) and Financing of Terrorism (TF).
The position reports to the Risk & Compliance Manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Management, Accounting or Insurance or related field.
Five (5) years’ compliance and risk experience. Knowledge of risk assessment, accounting system and tools as well as regulatory reporting.
Membership of professional bodies such as Certified Risk Analyst or Fraud Examiner.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory requirements and ongoing awareness of other legislation and regulations.
Be up to date with international developments and best practice relating to Compliance management.
Have the ability to give technically sound advice.
Have good knowledge of the regulatory environment, systems and procedures.
Knowledge of applicable money laundering and terrorist financing legislation and controls in the Botswana environment.
Understand the regulatory requirements in the international
Conduct monitoring and testing routines of existing internal controls designed to detect unusual/suspicious activities and to test for adherence to the BotswanaPost’s AML/CFT policies and procedures;
Identify the major AML/ATF risk trends (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annually)
Provide conclusions to identify areas for focused training
