Job Purpose: Summary

We’re looking to add great new talent to our dynamic Team, the successful incumbent will be a single point of contact for all Sales Operations related aspect within all channels and manage a Distributors Sales and merchandising within the region, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives/ targets.
Develop and implement a comprehensive Field Sales Strategy at country level in order to accelerate growth
Management of appointed Distributor by driving growth, operational efficiencies, contractual compliance and continuously improve performance
General oversight of all Route to Market activities in the country, working collaboratively with the sales team to implement strategy to widen and deepen distribution
Lead the Field Sales team to execute agreed category channel/customer plans and activities at the Point-of-Purchase
Ensure achievement of agreed Field Sales targets, including execution of the picture of success at the Point-of-Purchase, timely and quality of execution of activities
Co-ordinate and review the territory management plans and business opportunities
Ensure adherence to all Company principles and policies including local trade policy and terms
Ensure training, development and coaching of Field Sales personnel
Matric and a 3 year Tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing/Business
3 years field sales experience
Sound understanding of FMCG Industry
Ability to cold call with a track record of customer relationship development
Sound negotiation and presentation skills
Knowledge of sales financial principles( return on investment, margins & small business P&L)
Leadership and training qualities and skills
High level of attention to detail
High energy levels for travel and continuous trade negotiation
