Job overview

Reporting to General Manager – Finance, the incumbent is expected to manage BTC’s statutory financial accounting and reporting within the framework of an agreed business strategy and to meet operational targets in order to derive return on investment, profitability and customer satisfaction. He/she should provide professional finance advice to BTC management and provide support in developing BTC financial strategy by providing professional finance inputs and advice. The incumbent will manage the annual BTC financial reporting and accounting processes, external audit and all external financial reporting and use relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate managerial action to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Job Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification. Recognised international accountancy qualification with nine (9) year’s professional experience three (3 ) years’ of which should have been on accounting and financial management within a profit driven environment. Membership to a BICA is compulsory.
