Job Summary and Requirements:

  • Capture and posting of all receipts promptly into MDA system
  • Ensure that rent is paid timely
  • Reconciliation of accounts receivable with general ledger
  • Maintain security deposit account
  • Deal with debtor’s queries about payments and negotiate payment plans
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of debtors accounts
  • Respond promptly to both customers and internal queries
  • Liaison with property management division on debtors
  • Liaison with finance officer on debtors and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure proper management of debts
  • Perform monthly bank and cash book reconciliations
  • Prepare reports for periodic presentation to Management and Board
  • Commence legal action against debtors in the event of failure to pay debt
  • All other administrative duties related to credit control function


  • Degree in Accounting/Business Studies
  • ACCA Part qualified


  • Ability to maintain good client relationships at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet the set deadlines
