Job description

We are seeking a candidate with the ability to:

  • Provides strategic leadership and management in the day to day running of the school
  • Develop and lead a team of outstanding teachers
  • Build and promote the Thornhill brand
  • Facilitate the on-going development of academic excellence

The applicant must have proven:

  • Experience in a broad range of operational responsibilities
  • Computer skills including the use of internal and external educational learning environments, sound knowledge of File Maker pro database development and administration and the use of Microsoft Office in an administrative role


The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:

  • Have a Degree/Diploma in Education, current management experience and thorough understanding of Cambridge Primary curriculum
  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in an institution of excellence
  • Be willing to be involved in extra mural activities, including sports coaching
  • Have effective organisational, communication and administrative skills
  • Support the ethos of the school in line with the mission and vision statements
