Inventory Planning Officer X2 – Botswana Power Corporation

Job Purpose

Plans, Manages and Coordinates Demand and Inventory of BPC’s stock within Supply Chain. The incumbent ensures adequate supply of stock to service customer needs, whilst minimizing working inventory investment by assessing demand activity.

Planning scope – The job holder focuses on monthly/tactical plans.

Complexity – The job holder recommends inventory to meet demand and sales forecasts.

 

Supervision – The job holder works under supervision within an agreed plan.

Stock Cycle Count

Analyzes key themes using data from a wide range of sources and identifies possible impacts on the business.

Delivers prescribed outcomes for area of responsibility by working within established strategic planning systems.
Supply Chain Management
Makes sure that a portfolio of suppliers are delivering required levels of service while reporting to senior colleagues.
Qualifications
  • ​​A recognized University Degree in Materials Management/Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • CIPS Membership will be an added advantage.​

 

Experience

​​Work Experience
At least 3 years post qualification experience in Materials Management environment for Diploma Holder and None for Degree Holders.
