Reporting to the Finance Manager, your main purpose to perform a variety of general accounting supporting tasks in accordance with the Authority’ policies and procedures. The key performance indicators for the incumbent will be; to process payments into payables module to ensure accurate financial records at month ends; effectively perform account reconciliations on a monthly basis to establish outstanding invoices; updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions; to perform travel imprest account on a monthly basis.
You will need to possess a Diploma in Accounting / AAT and 2 years working experience in a computerised accounting environment.
The key competencies for the role include, accuracy and attention to detail; knowledge of excel spreadsheets; ability to work under pressure; deadline driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
