1. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER (3 Year Contract)
Main Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to Chief Engineer Technology Planning, the incumbent will be required to lead, develop and motivate a highly skill information technology team. Provide strategic direction in the implementation of all activities relating to BoFiNet’s information technology and Billing systems in order to ensure streamlined operation of the IT department in alignment with the business objectives of the organisation.

• Provide direction, develop and build solutions through IT Team, using variety of Information Technology Management tools
• IT Operations, including focus on individual and team performance, development planning and goal setting.
• Leading IT Team on change management, risk management and planning resources to ensure timely completion of the projects.
• Disaster recovery and backup management

• Security applications and Risk Management
• Database Standards, Procedures and Processes
• Outsourced and Commercial Vendor Management
• Strategy formulation and implementation
• Business case development, budgeting and Project Management

Academic Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have attained the following:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in IT related disciplines
• Eight (8) years post qualification experience in information technology management of which three (3) should have been served in a supervisory role. Experience in working with telecommunication network systems, including billing support will be an advantage.
