PROGRAMME OFFICER – MAUN
Main purpose of the Job
To manage and administer the general day today implementation of the BRCS regional programmes so as to achieve programme objectives, through; ensuring that programme objectives and directives set by the Branch Development Coordinator are understood and acted on. developing activity work plans and schedules, resolving problems with work priorities and use of resources, monitoring progress and ensuring efficiency.
Key performance areaa
- To administer the budget for the region and control the use of funds in regional programmes
- To assess regional needs and make recommendations to the Coordinators
- Coordinate inter-programme activities and liaise with government. NGOs and related institutions to share resourres and cooperate joint ventures
- Promote the Botswana Red Cross Society in the region and develop a strong network of divisions
- Produce regular technical reports, contribute to continuous programme reviews nnd expansion, and produce quarterly and annual reports
- Actively promote and market First Aid services and courses to potential customers through sending letters of introduction and brochures and arranging appointments to meet potential customers.
Qualification
- Degree in Social Sciences/Business Administration or a related field. First Aid Instructor Certificate will be an added advantage

Experience
- At least three (3) years working in programme management
- Remuneration: BRCS offers on attractive remuneration pucknge and benefits.
