Purpose of Position

Promote sale by developing client relationships, increasing the skill level within Axis staff and clients, and advising clients in the pricing of the solutions

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Involve the vendor and sales in customer meetings, be tactful in the approach and follow through with at least three key action points per meeting
  • Work closely with re sellers, understand their targets from the vendor and gain majority market share within their businesses
  • Provide first level technical advice on products and keep customers informed of new developments in product set
  • Professionally and efficiently manage customers engagement with a view to maximize the client experience, reports on lost deals with reasons and pending deals (pipeline)
  • Display accuracy regarding messages, quotes, orders and information given
  • Answer customer queries
  • Increase overall customer satisfaction of new and existing customers
  • Work closely with the vendor on deals/tenders to ensure they are secured for Axis and its resellers
  • Identify and develop under performing customers

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Tertiary qualification preferential
  • Minimum 3 years front line sales experience (essential)
  • Business development and program management skills
  • Account planning and performance analysis
  • Exceeding sales targets
  • Preparing of partner plans and business development plans
  • Facilitating technical and brand sales training for business partners

Additional Requirements

  • Applicants must have no criminal record
  • Must have own transport and valid driver’s license
