Responsibilities include: Developing and growing the Business Process Solutions team working dosely with the Partner in charge; Understanding the client needs and setting the objectives of the assignments; designing the work programmes and process to meet the objectives; allocation of work to team members; supervision and review of the work performed by various level of staff in line with the Grant Thornton Quaity standards; ensuring timely and quality deliverables to client and ensunng conclusion of assignments. Selected person will be responsible for day to day project management reporting to Partner including ensuring the optimal utilisation of managers, executives and staff to achieve profitabiity on assignments and quality service provided to the client. Selected individual must be responsible for leading training initiatives. guKie and mentor BPS team members and must be actively involved in their development and growth. Maintain good working relationship with clients, pursue opportunities for new business and actively involved in enhancing client satisfaction. Assist in developing thought leadership articles on Business Process Solutions and actively involve in business development activities including meeting prospective clients, preparation of proposal/RFP’s and winning new business. The selected individual wil manage team budget and responsible for achieving the budget jointly with Partner in charge of BPS team
Qualification, experience and skills: Candidate should have a professional qualification BICA / CA / ACCA / ICZA or any equivalent qualification and a minimum of 7-10 years’ post qualification experience. The applicant if selected will be reporting directly to the partner in charge of Business Process Solutions. The applcant must be assertive, self-driven, creative, decisive and possess multi-tasking ability and leadership qualities in order to meet up to the expectations on the job. The potential candidate should also have excellent people management skills, with strong drive and confidence to take charge of the growth of the team. Prior work experience either in CAfirm or any accounting related work would be given preference.
Competencies candidate must have: Demonstrated good working knowledge on IFRS/ IFRS for SME’s/Botswana GAAP; demonstrate good working knowledge of common accounting packages like, quick books etc, knowledge of Botswana Taxation/VAT; good analytical and interpretation skils financial information and excellent computer skills with expert knowledge of various Microsoft products. Working knowledge of Financial statement preparations system like Caseware/Caseview will be an added advantage. Good communication and presentation skills are a must for the position.
