CLEANER (x2 positions) – Australian Laboratory Services Botswana (Pty) Ltd

Scope of Work:

• Cleaning of the laboratory
• Sorting samples and weighing samples
• Loading samples in the oven
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them
• Collect and empty garbage
• Clean toilets and kitchen/canteen three times a day
• To use hazardous chemicals in a safe and controlled manner
• Clean the laboratory yard and garden
• Wash windows and wipe doors and door handles regularly
• Ensure ALS Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

  About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Primary school Certificate
• 3-5 years Laboratory cleaning experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a mandatory requirement.
• Good interpersonal skills and effective in working in a multi-cultural environment
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Able to prioritize and give accurate feedback on time
• High standards of work ethic and attention to detail
