Creditors Clerk – Top Mining Services (Pty) Limited

Top Mining Services Pty Limited is seeking to employ a dynamic, analytical and results oriented individual for the following position

Position: Creditors clerk 

Location: Francistown

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure invoices are matched against requisitions/purchase orders
• Prepare payment vouchers
• Ensure requisitions, purchase orders and invoices are properly authorised
• Timeous payment of invoices
• Preparation of remittance advices
• Capture above information in Excel and appropriate ERP Systems (such as Sage Evolution).
• Reconcile each creditor statement to the Sage Evolution System
• Timeous follow up on all AP queries
• Liaise with suppliers and key stakeholders in the business to resolve quenes
• Complete credit applications
• Maintain supplier master data
• Reconciliation and payments of sundry suppliers or service providers as and if required
• Maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders at suppliers
• Maintain best office practice and a sound filing system
• Deal with auditors and queries
• Any other ad hoc tasks that may be required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

• AAT or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a creditors control environment with exposure to creditors control, reconciliation of creditor accounts, processing of invoices and timeous payment of creditors
• Experience in using Sage Evolution Accounting System preferred
• High level of computer literacy in MS Office suite, specifically with Word and Excel skills at intermediate level
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical skills and good business acumen.
