DEBTORS CONTROLLER – Bolux Group (Pty) Ltd

Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for an allocated selection of customer accounts to control debtors and improve cash flow.

Your principal responsibilities shall include the following:

• Solve customer account/invoice queries & disputes and raise necessary credit notes.
• Collect all necessary information relating to new account applications to ensure accurate trading decisions
• Address all claims that relate to shortages/price queries/ damages & returns, credit limits and payment.
• Facilitate aged debt reduction targets and cash collection objectives.
• Process EFTs, cash payments, and reconcile to bank statements.
• Manage and control the Automation Process (BPM Process)
• Build relationships with the clients and internal departments and visit clients if necessary, to sort out account/invoicing challenges.
• Minimise unapplied cash and credits through account reconciliation.
• Assemble and collate all necessary information relating to new account applications to ensure accurate trading decisions by management.
• Ensure month end reporting on aged debt, queries, and cash collections.
• Participate actively in the implementation of ISO and Kaizen programs in order to contribute to company compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental Policies

Education / Professional Background

The following are the minimum professional and educational requirements for the position:

• Degree in Accounting or AAT level 3 and or 4.
• Experience in ACCPAC is an added advantage

Experience

• The position requires at least three (3) years of accounting receivable Administration. Evidence of experience in the following career path and / or professional experience would be most relevant.
