Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager The posi­tions will be responsible for the provision of techni­cal support of all client computing, to create reliable services for Internal Customer, delivery of products and services to BTC Customers In addition, the incumbent should support the end-to-end infra­structure client systems The incumbent should provide second level support for client computer systems and products by managing incidents, problems, change, access and configurations occurring in all operational support systems and escalate to third party for resolution You will be expected to install, configure and troubleshoot client computer hard­ware components an peripherals for BTC employees and Nteletsa. In addition, the candidate will be required to analyse business requirements and the relevant solutions, coordinate support of the end user hardware and software issues The incumbent will be required to work according to BTC quality standards and procedures

The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma in Computer Science. Information Science or equivalent with 2 years’ experience in the IT field and working experience in an ITIL compliant and in desktop support will be an added advantage Certification or professional membership in ITIL. MSCE or any mem­bership of a relevant professional association /body will be an advanatge
