DISEASE MANAGEMENT AND WELLNESS PROGRAM OFFICER – BPOMAS

PURPOSE OF JOB

a)The Disease Management and Wellness Program Officer will be reporting to the Managed Care Programs Manager and will be responsible for implementing and driving cost effective and integrated Disease Management andWellness Programs of the Scheme.
b)The Officer will collaborate with the scheme’s Third (3rd) Party Contractors (i.e. administrator, health risk managers etc.), healthcare providers and other related service providers to ensure that members receive appropriate care and seamless access to their benefits in line with the rules and operational protocols of the Scheme.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a) To assist the Manager in implementing Managed Care Programs of the Scheme.
b)To manage correspondence between the managed care programs of the scheme and all stakeholders (i.e.members, healthcare providers, administrator, health risk managers etc.).
c) To collaborate with internal departments and contracted Third (3rd)-Parties to drive wellness education and health promotion initiatives of the Scheme.
d) To drive program enrolment campaigns of the Scheme.
e) To track and report on performance of the Managed Care Programs.
f) To maintain accurate data for the Managed Care Programs.
g)To assist in stakeholder management plans and activities.
h)To perform all the administrative work of the programs. i)To prepare monthly and quarterly program reports

QUALIFICATIONS

a) A Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
b) A Post Graduate qualification in Public Health or any related field will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

a) Minimum of five (5) years’ working experience.
b) Experience in Managed Health Care, Case Management, Health Education/Promotion or any related field is strongly desirable.
