E-Learning Development and Support Officer – Insurance Academy of Botswana

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

– Diploma in ICT, Management or Technology field;
– 3 years’ experience in the following:
– Using technology in an academic environment, teaching and learning;
– Public communication;
– Responsible use of social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook;
– Building websites;
– Liaising with a broad variety of stakeholders to communicate strategy;
– Experience with a learning management system.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):

– Have a grasp of Instructional design practice relating to academic environments and technology enhanced learning;
– Creative application of the use of internet to advance teaching and learning goals of the unit;
– Experience of using a Learning Management System;
– Excellent Computing and technology application skills;
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
– Ability to work effectively with staff at all levels;
– Excellent organisational and time management skills.

ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES:

– Teaching qualification;
– Administration in the Education sector;
– Coding of Chatbots.
