DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities will include the following, but not limited to these;
- To coordinate preparation of examination papers for all modules involving assessment by written papers;
- To maintain records of all marks for use at the end of each Semester as approved by the Academic Affairs Board;
- Ensuring staff are aware of and comply with all deadlines for the setting of assessments and the return of marks;
- Ensuring that the Academic Affairs Board meetings where examination matters are discussed are held in accordance with University policy;
- Developing the Divisional Examinations and Assessment strategies and associated policies, inconjunction withtheManager Examinations,
- Ensuring that assessment procedures are implemented appropriately, including internal moderation;
- Attending Faculty Examiners’ Meetings and maintaining records of their outcomes
- The officer will also be responsible for proper and safe keeping of student records maintained by BA ISAGO University or group acting for BA ISAGO University. These include, but are not limited to, transcripts (grades), exam papers, test scores, evaluations.
- Writes statistical reports on student numbers on repeaters, retakes & supplements for presentations to the AAB, as required. These reports must necessarily be produced in the format required and in time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Social Sciences/Business Administration/Educational Planning or any related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience in a Tertiary Education
COMPETENCIES
- Good IT and administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good team player
