Financial Accountant

A leading lifting solutions company with its Head Office in South Africa is looking to appoint a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant in its Gaborone Branch.

Minimum Requirements to qualify for application:

 

• Minimum 5 Years Financial Accounting Experience
• Member of BICA -Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants
• Knowledge of all Company Tax & Revenue Services
• Knowledge of Microsoft Sage, QuickBooks accounting software is preferred
• Microsoft Excel Knowledge and understanding is a must
• Prior working experience is lifting solutions will be an added advantage

 

Main Responsibilities of Position:

• Supervision of Creditors, Cash book and Wages function.
• Manage all relevant Company Taxation
• Liaise with Bank
• Populate and calculate Monthly Group Management accounts as well as Branch Accounts
• Preparation of Branch Budget.
• Finalization of year-end accounts for annual audit.
• Manage Insurance Portfolio
• Audit Liaison
• Any other general request from the General Manager.
