General Manager – Abercrombie & Kent (Botswana) (Pty) Ltd

The incumbent will oversee four of the company properties.

Qualifications and experience.

• International Diploma in Hospitality Management/ Lodge Management and or Accounting.
• Qualifications within food and beverage department is an added advantage.
• 5 years’ general management experience within four and five star safari and hotel properties.
• A thorough understanding of camp / lodge / hotel standard operating procedures regarding food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance and conservation best practice. Five years’ experience minimum pertaining to this.
• Great at hosting international clientele.
• Superb food and beverage knowledge a must for creating restaurant menus and costings, as well as beverage menu and costings.
• Human resource knowledge is a must.
• A thorough understanding of IT systems such as Kerio Control, VLAN and access point systems, Apex reservation system and Plus Point stock monitoring systems a must.
