GENERAL MANAGER – Abercrombie & Kent (Botswana)

Abercrombie & Kent (Botswana) are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee their properties in the Okavango Delta.

The candidate should possess the following qualifications and

experience.

• 6 years’ general management experience within four and five stars only, safari and hotel properties.
• A thorough understanding of camp / lodge / hotel standard operating procedures regarding food and beverage,

house keeping, maintenance and conservation best practice. Five years’ experience minimum pertaining to this.

• International Diploma in Hospitality Management/Diploma in Lodge Management.
• Qualifications within food and beverage department very advantageous.
• Great at hosting international clientele.
• Superb food and beverage knowledge a must for creating restaurant menus and costings, as well as beverage menu and costings.
• Human resource knowledge is a must.
• A thorough understanding of IT systems such as Kerio Control, VLAN and access point systems, Apex reservation system and Plus Point stock monitoring systems a must.
