GENERAL MANAGER

Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Tourism or Hospitality

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years’experience in a Managerial position in the tourism/hospitality industry.
• International experience essential.
• Knowledge and experience with Desert & Delta Safaris will be an advantage.
• Fluency in English.
• Proven leadership in high-end hotel environments and resorts.
• Must have business management experience
• Experience in management of 100+ employees

Duties:

• Efficient operation and cost control of all Safaris camps, departments and facilities.
• Development of business strategies, including new business opportunities.
• Establishes and maintains service standards for personnel administration and performance, service to patrons, room rates, advertising and publicity.
• Allocates funds, authorizes expenditure and assists in planning budgets.
• Controls capex expenditure.
• Responds to complaints and resolves problems.
