Leadership
- Develops the school strategic plan
- Lead the execution of the schools strategic plans short, medium and long term
- Ensures legal and statutory compliance of the school.
- Answerable to and Reports to the School Board

- Provides reports to the School Board and its sub committees as per requirements.
- Provides direction to both members of staff and pupils, motivativating and empowering them to live and contribute towards the realization of the school vision.
- Creates a harmonious environment in which the parents, pupils and staff can take the school forward.
Technical
- Supervises curriculum development, improvement and evaluation and ensures that the School’s curriculum moves towards the Accreditation of the School as a Thinking School.
- Monitors and updates the Syllabi to ensure that the content allows a smooth transition for pupils
- Monitors the performance of pupils using appropriate Benchmarking tests
- Develops and monitor annual budget for the school.
- Maintains the Financial viability of the School together with the School Board.
- Manages and maintains all staff and students welfare programs
- Manages the entire school infrastructure
- Manages the development of staff to ensure they are registered and accredited by relevant bodies
- Forges strategic partnerships with other schools, key stakeholders such as CHOPS, SCSA, IEB etc. to ensure that the school
Requirements, Education and Experience
- Bachelors Honors Degree in Teaching
- Four (4) years’ experience as a Deputy Headteacher and/ or Headteacher in private primary education
- Four (4) years’ experience in International Curriculum Development
- Middle Management and Leadership courses
