Heavy Duty Drivers (x9 positions) wanted at African Mining Services

 

Job Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for operating machines which they are accountable and have been authorized, while maintaining a place of work that is safe and free from risk to health and to environment with the objective of ensuring that production targets are met.

1. Dump Truck Operator
2. Dozer Operator
3. Grader Operator
4. Drill Rig Operator
5. Excavator Operator
6. Forklift Operator
7. Compactor Operator
8. Bus driver
9. Track Dozer

Key Responsibilities (All positions)

• Undertaking tasks/activities that are performed by the machine assigned to him/her
• Ensuring that the machine is in good conditions for operation
• Ensuring proper machine housekeeping
• Ensure that risk assessment is done prior to any task and reporting all defects and hazards on equipment that is not working
• Ensuring that he/she adhere to set tunes for fueling of machines and that ail machines do not stop because of fuel.
• Ensuring his safety and safety of the entire workforce/his colleagues

Job Requirements (All positions)

• BGCSE
• 2 years valid Class B drivers’ license
• At least 2 years mining experience as an Operator
• Heavy Duty/Extra Heavy Duty license is an added advantage
