HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
Main Purpose of the Job
Manages the provision of HR service by ensuring consistency in the implementation of HR Policies in compliance with relevant National Legislation and ensure that professional HR standards are maintained.
•Recruits and analyses recruitment trends and advises the Human Capital Executive on appropriate recruitment strategies.
•Coordinates the implementation of the Authority’s compensation management system and conducts pre- and post salary audits, to identify anomalies and make appropriate recommendations to the Human Capital Executive.
•Provides professional advice and guidance in the implementation of performance management processes and systems, taking cognizance of best practices and industry benchmarks.
•Conducts HR demand and supply forecasts by analysing the Organisational Plan to estimate staffing requirements and availability of required competencies to meet the business growth requirements of the Organisation.
•Coordinates and Monitors the implementation of mentorship and coaching Programs.
•Coordinates and facilitates the development and implementation of Succession Planning and Talent Management processes and programmes, ensuring effective liaison with Management.
•Provides industrial relations services to staff.
•Manages the HR System and ensures that it produces reports as and when required.
•Audits HR practices and makes recommendation for improvement e.g. recruitment standards, surveys on conditions of employment etc.
