An opportunity has arisen for the position of:

HYGIENE SUPERVISOR

Main purpose of the Job:

To plan and organize the activities of pest control, waste management hygiene and Laundry processes to ensure compliance with laid down procedures and customer satisfaction.

Key tasks:

• To manage pest control activities to ensure compliance with procedure. •To monitor pest control records to ensure accurate record keeping

as per procedure.

• To verify cleaning of the change rooms to ensure compliance with procedures.
• To verify cleaning of the protective clothing to ensure compliance with standards.
• To verify cleaning of the plant surroundings to ensure compliance with the set standards.
• To verify collection and disposal of waste to ensure compliance with the procedures.
• To manage internal transport for disposal of waste and promptly report defects to engineering for maintenance to ensure timely disposal of waste.
• To train hygiene employees to ensure multi skilled workforce.
• To appraise and reward fairly to ensure a motivated workforce and take appropriate disciplinary action where necessary to ensure a disciplined and productive workforce.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Food Processing Establishment and Pest control operator’s course from a recognized institution

Experience:

Two (2) years work experience in a food processing plant at supervisory position
