In-House Accountant – Botswana Institution of Engineers

Key Performance Areas

• Report directly to the Chair – Office Administration
Treasurer & BIE Coordinator.
• Administering and monitoring the financial system & maintaining organization finances.
• Oversee the accounts payable & accounts receivable & ensure that the records of all money are accurate.
• Petty cash & Bank statement reconciliations
• Data analysis – prepare monthly spreadsheets.
• Forecast requirements, prepare annual budgets and schedule expenditures.
• Administer payment of various stakeholders.

Skills Required

• 2-3 years accounting experience
• Minimum of Advanced certificate in accounting with AAT or CAT qualification
• Knowledge of Quickbooks.
• Internal audit experience.

Must be registered with BICA.
