Basic Requirements:
Degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying
Computer literate, with a minimum of fluency in MS excel and MS word
Additional Attributes which will be of Benefit:
Up to two years of experience in the construction industry
A valid driver’s licence
Attention to detail
Strong Mathematical and analytical ability
Problem Solving
Main Purpose of this new position:
To help the Managing Director in the Quantity Surveying functions, while developing the skills required to progress to Quantity Surveyor
Main responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Create professional Bills of Quantities from construction drawings and onsite measures
Procurement of prices for tender purposes
Measurement of work done and materials on site
Sub-Contractor payment voucher and measures on works completed
This position is targeted at, but not limited to, recently graduated Botswana Citizens. It is designed to assist candidates with little or no experience in obtaining formal employment within the industry whilst being mentored.
