- Developing a thorough understanding of key client needs, requirements and prepare customized solutions.
- Negotiating contracts with key client and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of the client’s long-term goal.
- Effective management of safety, health, environment and quality risks.
- Grow the company’s revenue by ensuring that key client is satisfied with the services provided and identifying new business opportunities.
- Attending all client’s meetings, conventions and training workshops as and when required.
- Developing and sustaining a solid relationship with key client.
- Addressing and resolving all key client’s complaints.
- Acting as the main point of contact between key client and internal team.
- Effective business development, customer relationship management and problem resolution
- Compiling reports on account progress, goals and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical /Mining), Post Graduate qualification (e.g. MBA) will be an added advantage
- Operational and Leadership experience of 8 to 10 years
- Experience in associated industries (Mining/Construction)
- Business development skills and knowledge
- Sound business and financial acumen
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of earthmoving equipment and industry
- A track record in leading and managing people in a team based and participative environment.
- Experience in managing a service operation would be advantageous
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications & CRM software

PARTS MANAGER – GABORONE
Outputs
- To manage the Parts team that conducts the processes for all parts operations and deliver on all parts needs and expectations within the region.
- Manage the effectiveness of the parts operations.
- Ensure good corporate governance compliance
- Monitor trend analysis of lead times and back orders and ensures corrective action is taken on deviation of standard.
- Preparing, forwarding and discussing parts KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and SLA’s (Service Level Agreements)
- Liaising with and delighting customers always.
Requirements
- Industrial Engineering or National Diploma (Industrial Engineering)
- 8-10 years’ parts work experience
- Business development skills knowledge
- Track record leading people in a team-based / participative environment
- Experience in managing a parts operation is pre-requisite
- Business and financial acumen
- The ability to make sound judgement calls is critical
- SAP knowledge will be an added advantage
- People management skills
