ROLE SUMMARY:

• To assess and treat clients who require Physiotherapy treatment
• To help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.
• To help patients to manage pain and prevent disease.
• To do medical reports and referral letters where necessary.

• Perform Physiotherapy procedures help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.
• Reports to Specialist Physicians, Neurosurgeons and Orthopedic Surgeons
• Improvement of mobility and optimization of recovery times

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/ Degree in Physiotherapy or an equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council.
• Previous exposure to the Physiotherapy environment.
• Knowledge in report writing.
• At Least 5 years experience as a Physiotherapist.
• Possession of a Driver’s Licence an advantage

KEY WORK OUTPUTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Assess and treat clients in need of Physiotherapy treatment
