The Public Enterprises Evaluation and Privatisation Agency (PEEPA) is an agency established to implement approved privatisation transactions, advise government on privatisation, commercialisation and restructuring of public enterprises as well as to assist Government in monitoring the performance of public entities. The mandate of the Agency therefore contributes immensely to the public enterprises reform and privatisation programme.

Public Relations and Communications Officer
The Public Relations and Communications Officer reports directly to the CEO and will be expected to develop the Agency’s marketing and communication strategy.
PURPOSE OF THE POST
As the Public Relations and Communications Officer you will be required to plan and coordinate all initiatives to build the right corporate image and brand for the Agency. The successful candidate will coordinate the development of publicity and promotional publications, newsletters, brochures, pamphlets, billboards and marketing videos for internal and/or external communication. The incumbent shall handle media relations and serve as the Agency’s spokesperson. You will be required to coordinate and supervise the Agency’s corporate social responsibility programme. As Public Relations and Communications Officer you will be expected to ensure that all activities, projects and initiatives done by the Agency are documented and shared in line with the Agency’s protocols and procedures.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, you will need at least a Degree in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations or any other equivalent qualification acceptable to the Agency. This must be coupled with at least 5 years’ experience specialising in undertaking similar work. The successful candidate must be creative, innovative and an analytical thinker. You must possess a knowledge of privatisation policies and experience with systems and applications relevant to your work.

The above position is offered on a contract basis.
