A well established Instrumentation,Automation and Telemetry engineering company is looking to hire a Sales Executive Technician for their head office in Gaborone.
* Conducting customer need analysis and presenting the customer with possible Instrumentation automation solutions.
* Understanding our basket of product portfolio functionality and possible problems and figuring out a way to handle them.
* Determining the best products to meet the requirements of our customers.
* Assisting the sales administration personnel.
* Providing technical expertise in products and/or services.
* Taking part in exhibitions, and other events to help in the sales of products and/ or service.
* Train colleagues on basic technical aspects of a product and/ or service.
* Have an in-depth technical knowledge about the products, their working and their pros and cons.
* Sending technical specification to potential buyers along with the sales quotes.
* Revising and improving technical manuals.
Requirements and technical skills required:
* Have thorough knowledge about the different instrumentation and automation products and their working.
* Be able to multi-task and work under pressure.
* Be able to translate technical jargon so that lay people can understand it.
* Have leadership qualities and good presentation skills.
* Have business acumen.
* Be able to make efficient demos within a specific period of time.
* Be good in written and spoken communication.
* Be good in projection and sales.
* A minimum of a Diploma in Instrumentation or Automation Engineering or any related field.
* Preference will be given to ERB registered candidates
